Βιογραφικό

Η Χριστίνα Κωνσταντακοπούλου ήταν Καθηγήτρια στην έδρα Αρχαίας Ιστορίας και Κλασικών σπουδών στο Κολλέγιο Birkbeck του Πανεπιστημίου του Λονδινου (έως το 2022) και τώρα είναι εντεταλμένη ερευνήτρια στον Τομέα Ελληνικής και Ρωμαϊκής Αρχαιότητας στο Ινστιτούτο Ιστορικών Ερευνών, στο Εθνικό Ίδρυμα ερευνών. Το ερευνητικό της έργο εστιάζεται στην κοινωνική, πολιτική, οικονομική και πολιτισμική ιστορία του Αιγαίου, στην αρχαία θρησκεία, και στην επιγραφική. Εχει εκδώσει το Dance of the islands. Insularity, Networks, the Athenian empire and the Aegean world , OUP 2007 και το Aegean Interactions. Delos and its networks in the third century, OUP 2017, και έχει επιμεληθεί τους συλλογικούς τόμους με τον Irad Malkin και την Κατερίνα Παναγοπούλου, Greek and Roman networks in the Ancient Mediterranean, Routledge 2009, και με την Μαρία Φραγκουλάκη  Shaping Memory in Ancient Greece: Poetry, Historiography and Epigraphy. Histos Supplements 2020. Αυτή την στιγμή ερευνά το θέμα του αρχαίου κυνηγιού μέσα από το πρίσμα της κοινωνικής ιστορίας και είναι επιμελήτρια με τον Hans Beck και τον Jeremy McInerney του 7τομου έργου Oxford History of the Classical Greek world.
