ΝΙΚΟΣ ΓΙΑΝΝΑΚΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ

Ο Νίκος Γιαννακόπουλος σπούδασε στο Τμήμα Ισοτρίας και Αρχαιολόγίας του ΕΚΠΑ  (πτυχίο 1995) και έλαβε το διδακτορικό του δίπλωμα στην Αρχαία Ιστορία (2004) από το ίδιο Πανεπιστήμιο. Έχει εργαστεί ως εξωτερικός συνεργάτης στο Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών (1996-1997 και 2003-2005). Υπηρέτησε ως  Λέκτορας και στη συνέχεια ως Επίκουρος Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας του ΑΠΘ (2006-2018). Από το 2018 είναι Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής Αρχαίας Ιστορίας στο Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας του ΕΚΠΑ.

Η τρέχουσα έρευνά του αφορά πολιτικές και κοινωνικές όψεις των ελληνικών πόλεων υπό ρωμαϊκή εξουσία.

• Η ελληνική πόλις των Ρωμαϊκών Χρόνων (πολιτική, κοινωνία και θεσμοί)Ιδι
• Η Εύβοια κατά τους Ελληνιστικούς και Ρωμαϊκούς Χρόνους
• Τήρηση της τάξης και έγκλημα στη Ρωμαϊκή Ανατολή
• Η πρόσληψη της Κλασικής Εποχής κατά τους Ρωμαϊκούς Χρόνους.
